Join us on an unforgettable two-day excursion of the Icelandic south coast; including Jökulsárlón (Glacier Lagoon), Skógarfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Reynisfjara (Black Sand Beach) and many others. Travel like true Vikings through lunar landscapes where rivers roar through black deserts sands and experience the countless natural splendours the coastline has to offer.

You will not be going on a normal tour, but an epic journey into a mesmerising wonderland where towering cliffs and menacing mountains loom over placid lava fields that the centuries have enveloped in a soft blanket of pale green moss.

In the course of two days, you will explore the ancient waterfalls that stand guard before the highlands and the black sand beaches that adorn the southern coast; you will voyage through the Skaftafell Nature Reserve towards the crown jewel of the south, the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon; and you will have the chance of standing on an abyssal blue glacier where you witness the merciless effects of global warming first hand. You will have plenty of time to take in the views from shore, or to catch an optional boat ride onto the lagoon for an up close encounter with the icebergs and the seals that swim around them.

This is a mini-bus trip that exposes you to experiences that are simply unparalleled by anything you will see on a large coach bus. To provide intimate and personal services, we only travel in small groups composed of adventure-seeking travellers and have organised the itinerary in a sequence that ensures that you avoid the main crowds. Feel free to ask our experienced guides as many questions as you like, and you’ll be rewarded with fascinating, and often fantastic, knowledge about this Nordic island and the strange people who call it home.

This is a tour for those seeking to have a unique adventure, without missing out on the iconic attractions that have made Iceland one of the world’s most treasured travel destinations.

Check booking availability now by choosing a date, and remember that during the peak of summer, you will experience the midnight sun, whose soft light casts a natural filter no Instagram or photo app can replicate.
